Hello! I'm Rachel, the founder of Cortina Studios and a busy mother of two toddlers.

Cortina Studios was born out of a personal need when I was hunting for custom curtains for our rental apartment in Berlin. With two little ones running around, I needed something beautiful and affordable, but the options were limited. So, I took matters into my own hands and created a solution that worked for our family.

After seeing how much my family loved the curtains, I started designing for friends, then friends of friends. Before I knew it, I was launching Cortina Studios.

I enjoy balancing motherhood helping others find a creative solution for their home. My background in custom architectural design helps me help others nail the details while keeping the process fun and exciting - which it should be!
